Ingredients
Waffles
  • 1/2cup buttersoftened
  • 1/2cup white sugar
  • 1/4cup brown sugarpacked
  • 1 egg
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4teaspoon Salt
Glaze
  • 1/3cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½teaspoon milkto thin into glaze consistency
MASTERS CLASS ONLY: Cinnamon Whipped Cream
  • 1cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
For the Cookies
  1. Whip butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy. Stir in egg and vanilla. Slowly incorporate dry ingredients until incorporated.
  2. Preheat waffle iron. Spray with nonstick cooking spray and scoop cookie dough into forms. Close waffle iron and cook until brown, about 2 minutes but depends on the iron. Carefully remove and cool.
For the Glaze
  1. Mix sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Slowly stir in milk to create a drizzle-able glaze. Drizzle over waffle cookies and top with more cinnamon. Serve.
MASTERS CLASSES ONLY
  1. Add heavy whipping cream in a chilled mixing bowl.
  2. Add the cinnamon and powdered sugar to the whipping cream.
  3. Whisk on medium until the cream reaches stiff peaks.
